Men Finish 6th at CACC Championships
Philadelphia, PA- The men's cross country team finished 6th place overall overall out of 10 teams at the CACC championships this past Saturday. The men finished at a score of 165 just 15 points behind 5th place Holy Family University.
Nick Kipkosgei was the Deacons first finisher coming in at a time of 29:01.86, good for 25th overall. Kevin Quiroz finished one spot behind Kipkosgei at 26th overall and just 7 seconds behind at 29:08.4.
Finishing next for BC was Jose Ramos at 36th overall at a time of 30:27.55. William Walsh would come in at 42nd overall at a time 31:29.67. Devang Patel would finish 45th at a time of 31:33.07.
Today, the men were announced as the winnners of the 2008 CACC sportsmanship award for men's cross country. The Bloomfield College Athletic Department would like to congratulate the men on one of their finest seasons in recent years.
