BRONXVILLE, NY (October 15, 2009): The women's volleyball team earned their fifth conference victory of the season Thursday night with a 3-0 road victory over Concordia College.
The Lady Deacons used a balanced offensive attack to earn a season sweep of the Lady Clippers - three different players notched at least five kills in the 25-12, 25-11, 25-18 victory.
Ursula Pereira lead the charge with seven kills, with
Uerequenia Pereira following close behind with six.
Tiffany Jackson finished with five kills on the night, while
Suzy Zanette and
Gabriella Betoni notched three kills apiece.
The girls return to action Saturday, October 17 with a pair of matches against Holy Family University and Queens College. The first match is scheduled for Noon.
