Men place fifth, women twelfth at CACC championships
Kipkosgei earns All-CACC honors with eighth-place finish

Senior Nicholas Kipkosgei earned an All-CACC nod with an eighth place finish Saturday, as the men's cross country team finished fifth at the CACC Championships.  The women also had a solid showing, finishing 12'th in the event. 

Kipkosgei finished with a time of 28:30.52, while Kevin Quiroz finished next for Bloomfield with a time of 30:37.84 in the 5K event, good for 28'th place.  Freshman Moses Rotich was the next Deacon finisher in 36'th place posting a time of 31:09.26, while Steven Bowman finished with a time of 32:21.70, good for 41'st place.  Devang Patel followed in 42n'd place with a time of 32:25.22, senior William Walsh finished with a time of 32:52.85, good for 46'th place.  Elson Smajlaj finished in 47'th place with a time of 33:13.11.

On the women's side, Mercy Puma was the top finisher for the Lady Deacons posting a time of 24:48.57, good for 51'st place.  Vanessa Lamison followed Puma in 58'th place with a time of 25:31.08, while Bertina Beaubrun finished in 67'th place with a time of 26:55.78.  Robyn Burton followed soon after in 70'th place posting a time of 28:08.99, while Shakiyrah Bishop finished in 73'rd place with a time of 29:01.12.  Deana Dedovitch finished in 76'th place with a time of 29:51.59.
