PHILADELPHIA, PA (October 3, 2009):  The women's soccer team was unable to crack a stingy Philadelphia University defense Saturday afternoon, as the Rams shutout the Lady Deacons en route to a 6-0 victory.

Kristen McKale opened the scoring in the sixth minute with her fourth goal of the season, with Erin Walter connecting on a header to give the Rams a 2-0 just seven minutes later.  McKale notched her second goal of the half in the 25'th minute, giving Philly a comfortable 3-0 advantage.  Gabrielle Haden, Trisha Sileo and Lauren Pfister each added goals in the second half, helping the Rams stay unbeaten in CACC play, and forcing the Lady Deacons to wait for their first conference victory.

The girls return to action Monday, October 5 with a road match against Mercy College.  The opening whistle is set for 3:00 PM.
