LYNDHURST, NJ: Bloomfield's women's soccer team fell to 2-10 on the season Wednesday night, falling to the Felician College Golden Falcons by a 4-1 margin in a CACC road contest.

Adriana Moreno to give the Falcons a 1-0 advantage.
Coach Constantino's group would answer in the 29'th minute, when
Erika Len, who was moved to the front line from her midfield spot prior to the opening whistle, notched her fifth goal of the season off a pass from
Laura Nunnery to even the score at a goal apiece.
But the Falcons would counter with three unanswered goals over the remaining 61 minutes of play, putting the game out of reach. Just ten minutes after Len's goal evened the match, Emily Gleason gave the Falcons a one-goal advantage, rifling a shot that deflected off a Bloomfield defender and into the back of the net.
Gleason added her second goal of the match in the second half, when she fired a shot to the right upper 90 from 12 yards out to push the score to 3-1 in favor of the Falcons. Five minutes later, Jacobowitz added her ninth goal of the season and second of the match off a shot from Gleason that went off the crossbar and came out to the middle of the box.
"Despite the outcome I was pleased with the way we played, especially on offense," head coach Rocco Constantino said. We generated a good amount of scoring chances, but ran into some tough luck - hitting two posts when it was a 2-1 game, things like that. We tried some new personnel and I think we found some good combinations to move forward with the rest of the season."
The team returns to action Saturday, October 10 with a home match against Holy Family University. The opening whistle is set for 1:00 PM.
