Boca Raton, FL- Dowling added 2 runs in the 1st and 2nd innings, and later added four in the third to defeat Bloomfield by a score of 8-1 at Florida Atlantic University. The Deacons fall to 2-8 on the season and Dowling improves to 6-2.
Bloomfield's only run came when a Dowling error in the 1st inning scored

Steve Godowski takes the loss, pitching 5 innings and allowing 7 earned, striking out 4. Dave Ricci,
Rafael Cruz,
Michael Fratto, and
John Whitley combined to pitch a scoreless sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth innings. Anderson Minyetty was also 2-3 in the loss.
The Deacons return to action today when they take on Molloy in their Florida schedule finale.
