5/26/2010: Assistant Women's Basketball Coach
Bloomfield's Women's Basketball program welcomes applications for the position of Assistant Basketball Coach. This is a part-time position that will assist in all areas of running a competitive Division II program including recruiting, scouting of opposition, planning and implementing practice sessions and coordinating and implementing gameplans.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruiting of student-athletes that will uphold and embody the values synonymous with Bloomfield Women's Basketball
- Scout opposition and compile data that will be used in creating gameplans
- Assist in planning of practice sessions that coincide with game plan for next opponent
- Assist in all areas of teaching the game of basketball, both in practice and game settings
- Embody the spirit of Division II athletics and NCAA Women's Basketball
Preferred Qualifications:
- College playing and coaching experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to recruit NCAA-caliber student-athletes
- Scouting experience preferred
